a.

Consideration of Ordinance O-05-2023, a text amendment to Chapter 23 – Zoning., to revise the definition of “Solar Energy System, Large Scale” and to allow “Solar Energy System, Large Scale” as an accessory use in certain zoning districts. REMARKS: SECOND READING

 

b.

Consideration of Ordinance O-03-2023 Amending Chapter 7.5. Finance of the Town Code of Ordinances in order to revise certain purchasing thresholds, and other miscellaneous purchasing requirements. REMARKS: FIRST READING

 

c.

Consideration of Ordinance O-07-2023, adding language to Chapter 17, Streets, Sidewalks and Other Public Places, clarifying when the Town will impose conditions of approvals related to right of way dedications by Palm Beach County. REMARKS: FIRST READING

a.

Consideration of a variance request from Sec. 23-92(e) of the Town Code of Ordinances for the property located at 434 South Atlantic Drive in the R1A – Residential Zoning District. (Case #: VAR23-0016).

 

b.

Consideration of a variance request from Sec. 23-134(a)(2) of the Town Code of Ordinances for the property located at 1177 Lands End Road in the R1A – Residential Zoning District. (Case #: VAR23-0013).

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

a.

Consideration of approval of the Townwide Master Plan. 

 

b.

Consideration of CSA No. 2023-04 and CSA No. 2023-05 with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. authorizing engineering services in the amount of $156,300.00 for assistance with the conversion of the current sanitary and stormwater infrastructure record data into standardized electronic geodatabase formats.

 

c.

Consideration of CSA No. 2023-04 with Baxter & Woodman, Inc. authorizing engineering services in the amount of $174,103.29 for the Water Treatment Plant Resin Replacement & Improvements General Construction Services.

 

d.

Consideration of authorizing the purchase of a Fairbanks Nijhuis 30hp 880rpm 3ph 230v pump motor assembly with impeller from Barney’s Pumps Inc. for the Town’s master lift station #1 in an amount not to exceed $48,150.00.

PROCEDURES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
Any citizen is entitled to be heard on an official agenda item when the Town Council calls for public comment OR any matter not on the agenda under the “Public Comments” section. Citizens desiring to address the Town Council shall step up to the microphone at the podium, state their name and address in an audible voice for the record, and, unless the Chair grants additional time, shall limit their address to three (3) minutes. Citizens who wish to address the Council MUST complete a blue public comment card and present it to the Town Clerk before the item is discussed and wait for the Mayor to announce when it is their turn to speak. Likewise, if the public wishes to speak on a matter on the consent agenda, they must complete a blue card and present it to the Town Clerk before the start of the meeting.
